About the Series

Artists, creative communities, and cultural traditions take center stage as LPB brings an expanded Louisiana focus to ART ROCKS! THE SERIES, with the entire 30-minute program dedicated exclusively to Louisiana art and artists.

The series now features longer segments, allowing for more in-depth storytelling. The Featured Artist segment takes viewers beyond the artwork for a closer look at the artist's personal journey, creative process, and inspirations.  The Impressions segment highlights how the featured artist’s work connects with audiences and communities across Louisiana and beyond. Each episode also features Vault Rocks!, a short feature from LPB’s archives that connects the featured artist's work to Louisiana's artistic history and cultural traditions.

James Fox-Smith, publisher of Country Roads Magazine, returns as host of the series.

This season also introduces Art Rocks! Unframed, featuring additional digital content, including tours of artists' exhibitions, special art demonstrations, and more.
